2014 was a special year as it was the 21st annual Festival. We called it Waterside Arts Comes of Age. It was a mixture of new ideas and old favourites, with some performers who took part in the very first Festival. There was also an Italian Market in Hythe Village during the Family Fun Day.
One of these was Marchwood Orchestra who opened the 2014 Festival with a piece called ‘Fanfare for a Festival’. This was specially composed for our 10th anniversary.
