The 2013 Waterside Arts Summer Festival took place over the weekend of July 12th to 14th in Hythe (New Forest) Village Centre.
The Festival begun on the Friday evening with ‘Jazz at the Grove’, an open air concert from Cavalier Jazzmen.
Things continued on the Saturday with the ‘Festival Fun Day’ 10 hours of free open air entertainment, including in the evening, ‘Music on the Prom’. Popular, local ukulele and singing trio Twangdillo played on The Promenade – a performance area with spectacular views over Southampton Water.
On the Sunday Morning there was a’ Craft Street Market’ in the High Street and the Festival ended with ‘Brass on the Prom’ where the crowds were entertained by New Forest Brass Band.
Glorious sunshine over the whole weekend made sure everyone who came along had a wonderful time. The pictures below give a taste of what they saw.
