2018 will be the 25th annual Festival and we are looking to make it something special. It will take place between 4th & 8th July
The Festival will start with a music event on the evening of Wednesday 4th followed by an orchestral concert on Thursday 5th. On Friday 6th there will be an open air Jazz evening with the Family Fun-Day in Hythe Village on Saturday 7th. There will be music, singers and dancers all around the village along with a ‘Kids Zone’ and an ‘Arts Zone’ in Pylwell Precinct. The early evening will see ‘Music on The Prom’, bring a picnic to eat or buy something from the local shops and cafes while you enjoy the music and the view over Southampton Water – there may even be some liners going out. Later on there will be an evening of entertainment in the Performance Area again on The Prom (at the back of the Lord Nelson pub).
The last day of the Festival will be Sunday 8th July with two events on The Prom – a Worship Service in the morning and a brass band concert in the afternoon. There will also be several Festival Fringe events.
